Nuestra Historia

Fiesta Calle Orange began in 1999 with a mission to celebrate the vibrant traditions and heritage of the Latin community in Orlando. Founded by Rene Plasencia, the event was envisioned as a cultural gathering where the rich diversity of Hispanic music, dance, food, and art could be shared with the broader Central Florida community. Over the past 27 years, it has grown into a cornerstone of Orlando’s cultural calendar, drawing thousands of attendees each year.

More than just a festival, Fiesta Calle Orange has become a unifying tradition, bringing together people of all races, backgrounds, and generations. It has created a space where families and friends come together to experience the energy and joy of Latin culture. By showcasing the talents of local and international artists, it has elevated the voices of the Hispanic community while inviting others to immerse themselves in its vibrant traditions.

The festival's impact extends far beyond entertainment. It has fostered unity by creating opportunities for cultural exchange, strengthened Orlando’s local economy by supporting small businesses and vendors, and provided a platform for community organizations to connect with residents. It has also played a pivotal role in promoting Orlando as a hub for multicultural events, enhancing the city’s reputation as an inclusive and dynamic destination.

Now under the leadership of Max Elite Productions, Fiesta Calle Orange continues to honor its legacy while embracing new opportunities to expand its influence. The festival remains a celebration of Hispanic Heritage, a source of pride, and a symbol of the power of community and cultural appreciation in Central Florida.
